Dr. Arthur is a bilingual General Dentist and founder of OASIS Modern Dentistry & Orthodontics.
Dr. Arthur received her DDS degree (2000) at the National University of Colombia, one of the most prestigious universities in South America. Dr. Arthur earned a Master in Public Health (2013) at UNC-CH, the number one ranked public school of public health in the USA. She went on to obtain a degree as a Dental Public Health Specialist (2015) at NYU Langone Dental Medicine. Continuing at NYU Medical Center, she completed another post-doctoral residency degree (AEGD) emphasizing extensive training in implants, surgery, and IV sedation (2017).
As a postdoctoral research associate at The Center For Oral And Systemic Diseases at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC-CH) from 2005-2009, she explored the impact of periodontal disease on cardiovascular disease, kidney disease, and pregnancy.
Her ground-breaking Dental Public Health research in Non-Dental Providers of Preventative Dental Services was published in the February 2016 issue of The American Academy of Pediatrics.
